The Charles R. Blyth Fund is a student-run investment fund and Stanford University student organization. In 1978, an anonymou ... s donor established the Charles R. Blyth Fund at Stanford University in honor of legendary banker Charles Blyth. Since its inception, the Blyth Fund has managed approximately $170,000 of Stanford University’s endowment investing in stocks, bonds and other assets. The Fund’s purpose is to provide Stanford students interested in finance with a hands-on investing experience and is open to all members who show continued participation and a passion for investing. Members attend educational lectures, conduct investment research and pitch investment theses they formulate. The Blyth Fund maintains an open-membership policy and encourage all Stanford students to join meetings and participate in discussions. Blyth Fund Alumni run multi-billion dollar product groups, manage billion dollar private equity funds, hedge funds, are partners at top firms, and have started many companies. read more
