Our work is grounded in clinical need and informs health systems transformation in order to improve the health of populations. As a multidisciplinary research centre of the Providence Health Care Research Institute (PHCRI) and the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine, CHÉOS is not disease, organ, or population specific. CHÉOS investigators evaluate the effectiveness of interventions across numerous health disciplines and aim to ensure that our work is relevant, addresses current gaps in delivery of care and contributes to overall system-wide improvements. In addition to conducting our own research, the inter-professional team at CHÉOS also provides practical expertise to other scientists.
