We are the Center for Transportation Research (CTR) at The University of Texas at Austin. Our mission: collaborate, innovate, ... and educate. Research includes projects for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), National Science Foundation (NSF), United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), Transportation Research Board (TRB), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Rail Administration (FRA), Department of Homeland Security, City of Austin, Capital Metro, Capital Area Metropolitan Planning and Operations (CAMPO), North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), and many others. The CTR Library houses and administers the TxDOT Research Library: the official depository of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Cooperative Research Program. Our library supports the information needs of the Research and Technology Implementation Division of TxDOT. The collection contains over 27,000 print and electronic transportation-related reports from different agencies (FHWA, AASHTO, TRB, state-level transportation agencies, City of Austin, and more), specializing in Texas transportation.
