CenClear works diligently to help families and individuals access the services and support they need to make their dreams come true. CenClear was founded in 1980 as a non-profit organization to provide preschool services to children in low-income families. It was soon discovered that there were very few options at the time for young children with mental health issues. CenClear began offering mental health services to meet the needs of not only children, but teens and adults as well. When it was determined that some clients also needed drug and alcohol treatment services these services were added as well. Today CenClear offers services for pregnant moms, young parents, toddlers, preschool students, school-age children, teens and adults. CenClear's mental health treatment services include outpatient services, in-school services, family services, individual sessions and group sessions. Those in need of drug and alcohol services have the option of partial hospitalization services, intensive outpatient services and outpatient services. CenClear also offers Medication Assisted Treatment at our Punxsutawney and Clearfield locations.
