Ms. Eckert was named to the Washington Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Directors President's Council. One of Ms. Eckert's projects for the WSO, was the organization of the Washington Symphony Orchestra's Annual Gala celebration. Served as Development Director for M.A.G.N.U.M. A National Understanding for Migraineurs, a non-profit health care public education organization conceived in 1993 and incorporated in 1994 to bring public and government awareness to the medical seriousness of the migraine disease.
