Chef Jesse Musa ... , a native of Jerusalem, grew up surrounded by exotic spices, and at an early age, he developed a passion for exquisite, yet simple, food. Jesse immigrated to The United States in 1971, where he worked as a chef in a Sicilian Bakery, with dreams of one day owning his own restaurant. In 1987, his dreams came true when he opened "The Sahara Inn," a Middle Eastern restaurant. Three years later he changed the name to "Casablanca", which was inspired by the classic film. Now, more than a decade later, Casablanca is run by Jeese's sons: Ramzi, Al, and Nas; and the restaurant has sinced relocated to Historic Brady Street, located on the East Side of Milwaukee.
