Our story began over 30 years ago when our founder; Mario Laufer decided to venture into the restaurant business. It was not ... an easy start and after many failed businesses in different industries, Mario decided to go after what he was really passionate about: cooking simple and healthy dishes but with a lot of taste. After a few hit and misses, Carrot Express was born on the inside of a gas station on Alton Road in South Beach.
