College of the Desert (COD) is a public two-year community college located in Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley of Riversid ... e County, California. The current COD enrollment is about 10,200 students, of which about one third attend college full-time. The Career Technical Education program at College of the Desert provides a pathway for those looking for direction in the new economy built around zero net energy and alternative sources to power the future. This project received $1,469,805 (9.8% of total) from a grant awarded under the TAACCCT program as implemented by the U.S. Department of Labor.
