The Capital City Car Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized to educate, promote, and encourage participation in the sport a ... nd hobby of owning an automobile. Capital City Car Club is open to the public and will hold clinics and other educational events to provide education on all facets of safe and responsible car ownership and operation. Clinics and events will cover automobile related topics such as; Purchase, Maintenance, Repair, Safe Operation, Teen Drivers, Winter Driving. Other Automobile themed fundraising events (car washes, clinics, track days) will be held throughout the year. The net proceeds from the above referenced clinics, educational events and other fundraisers will be donated to qualified 501(c)(3) charities. About Our Clinic Car After a long and exhaustive search online, we found a 1999 BMW 328is. As you can see in the photos below, it had been in an accident and was waiting in New Orleans, LA to be adopted to a happy home. We intend to put the car to a good use by having it serve as our Clinic Car. We will use this car in educational events to provide know-how on all facets of safe and responsible car ownership and operation. The ultimate test of our labor and efforts will be taking the Clinic Car to a track to see if what we did works during endurance driving, such as in events like the 24 Hours of Lemons.
