Core funded by Cancer Research UK and part of the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, the Institute is home to 23 research groups and over 400 members of staff. The research strategy focuses on four key areas: 1. Basic research into the cellular and molecular biology of cancer. 2. Research in molecular imaging, genomics, bioinformatics and computational biology. 3. Research focused on specific cancers, which form a link between laboratory and clinic. 4.
