The Bushnell’s Basin Fire Association (BBFD), Incorporated protects the southwest area of the Town of Perinton, New York. BBF ... D responded to almost 400 calls for assistance in 2007. Bushnell’s Basin firefighters provide fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials response, mutual aid and non-transport emergency medical services. BBFD is an all volunteer organization staffed by more than 70 volunteers. Along with emergency services, an on-going Public Education program is offered and last year more than 700 area children took part in that program.
