The Bulgarian Society for Endovascular Therapy (BSET) is a non-profit organization which studies, develops and implements new ... scientific and practical achievements in the field of endovascular medicine. We support the joint efforts of invasive cardiologists, vascular surgeons, imaging diagnostic specialists, neurosurgeons, angiologists and neurologists to unite in a multidisciplinary professional organization and create a unified standard for the treatment of peripheral vascular diseases. Our aim is to promote world-class advanced medical practices and achievements through organizing trainings, building high standards and demonstrating interesting work cases. To achieve its goals, the association strives to develop international cooperation with similar organizations from abroad and transfer their achievements in Bulgaria, as well as to promote the good practices of endovascular therapy in other countries. Membership in BSET is a valuable tool to keep up with the changing trends in endovascular intervention. From up-to-date training and direct contact with colleagues, BSET educates the specialists with the resources they need to provide the most advanced and well-established treatment methods for their patients. BSET also strives to prepare doctors in Bulgaria for the implementation of modern invasive techniques through organizing a number of training events. As part of its activities in 2019 BSET, in cooperation with the International Association of Endovascular Specialists (ISEVS), is organizing the largest event of its kind in the whole region - BEC&ISEVS Endovascular Academy 2019. The Endovascular Academy is actually a course for training colleagues interested in endovascular methodologies by international experts.
