For more than 35 years, Boston MedFlight has played an integral role as part of the Massachusetts EMS system and the community hospitals of New England. Boston MedFight transports emergent patients regardless of their ability to pay. We receive no state or federal funding and as a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization we must rely on third party reimbursement, support from our consortium hospitals, and our fundraising efforts to cover the substantial costs associated with delivering our services.
