The furniture designers have won the best-of-the-best Red Dot Design awards. They can be found labelled in store and online. And the design team also collaborated with Mercedez Benz to jointly design a new interior for the Smart car. BoConcept is also credited with being the first Danish designer furniture company to introduce a new trend: The flexible furniture system in Scandinavia, in 1979. And in 1984, BoConcept produced the first piece of furniture using the now internationally famous, knock-down principle. BoConcept employs over 600 interior designers and 400 design consultants around the world. Sydney operations are no exception, with a strict policy of not employing junior retail assistants.
