Community Driven It’s important to us at Beau’s to be actively engaged with the people who drink our beer – and to support the communities in which they live. We do this by building genuine relationships, and through philanthropic outreach in a variety of fun and exciting ways. Since 2006 Beau’s has donated more than $1 million to charities, community groups and the independent arts. We have pledged to donate another $5 million in the next 10 years throughout every community where our beer is sold. Family Run Beau’s is a close-knit, family-and-friends-run, Canadian craft brewery. While our blended family has grown quite a bit since the early days, our warm and familial company culture has remained the same. When Beau’s opened in 2006, our father-and-son co-founders Tim and Steve Beauchesne could not have imagined that ten years later they’d begin the process of selling the brewery to their employees. But in 2016 that’s exactly what happened, and today Beau’s is family run and employee owned – and the people who helped build the company will be the stewards of its future. Certified Organic Every Beau’s beer is certified organic and made with organic malts and hops, and local spring water. At Beau’s, we have embraced sustainability and strive to be environmental stewards. Our purchasing policy favours local suppliers, those with good environmental track records, and those who treat their employees fairly and with respect. In 2013, Beau’s became the first brewery in Canada to achieve Benefit Corporation (B-Corp) status, a third-party certification of businesses that prioritize social responsibility. From our 100% post-consumer posters, brochures, and coasters to our innovative enviro-friendly packaging, we approach each decision with mindfulness of its environmental impact.
