The program prepares students for careers in the design, operation, and management of industrial automation systems focusing on our local industries; Petroleum (Chevron), Energy (Aera), Logistics (Target), Food (Nestle), and Manufacturing (GAF). Significant emphasis is placed on project based learning facilitated by laboratory work using industry hardware (Allen Bradley PLCs) Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of our local businesses that require these skill sets. It is a partnership between industrial requirements and higher education with a focus and goal of developing local talent to support our local economy.
