In 1980, we established a contact lens manufacturing plant in Waterford, Ireland. Today, our facility in Waterford is a multi-function complex. It is also one of two contact lens manufacturing facilities for Bausch + Lomb worldwide. The facility is currently undergoing construction to increase the capacity available to manufacture the company’s latest contact lens, Bausch + Lomb INFUSE®, which is distributed to countries all over the world. Once complete, the entire complex will cover a total of 700,000 square feet. We pride ourselves on being a premier employer in the Waterford region.
