Austin Bates, son of an Air Force career officer, grew up traveling. His travels eventually took him to Tucson where he attended from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. After graduating, Austin moved to Phoenix and began his career in the mortgage lending business. Like many success stories, Austin’s begins at that bottom of the ladder where he learned the mortgage business as an assistant. His work ethic propelled him to be promoted to a portfolio manager which then led to yet another promotion to sales manager. Austin then went on to start his own brokerage, and further joined up with Homeowner’s Financial Group in 2012. Austin specializes in the Arizona, California and Illinois markets. He is a member of the Executive Council 70 which is a local non-profit that raises money for youth based charities. Today, Austin is licensed with V.I.P. Mortgage Inc.
