We are one of London's largest choral societies with around 250 regular members, offering amateur voi ... ces a wonderful opportunity to sing a variety of choral works under professional guidance. We perform in prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and Cadogan Hall, alongside professional orchestras and soloists. It's an exhilarating experience to sing on these stages and we are well known for our enthusiastic performances. Barts Choir was started by a group of nurses at St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1965. We retain a connection with the hospital in both name and spirit and regularly invite staff of Barts Health NHS Trust to join their voices to ours. Singing is a well-known stress-reliever and good for the general health and well-being for everyone. We perform three major concerts a year and we also support smaller projects, such as carol events for charity and providing a choir for the Barts Health Annual Remembrance Service at St Paul’s Cathedral. Each year we partner with a health-related charity, giving them support through publicity and by fund-raising. In 2016 we supported Pancreatic Cancer UK, in 2017 it was MIND. This year we are proud to support the Motor-Neurone Disease Association.
