Bangor Tigers is a great local junior Australian Rules Football Club that welcomes players of all ages & abilities to learn t ... he game of AFL in a safe and supportive environment. Our home ground is on Old Illawarra Rd in Barden Ridge NSW. Junior Football is about learning the game and skills of Australian Rules Football, but most importantly, putting the "KIDS FIRST" and focusing on having fun. Important information regarding registration, training, game days, venues, wet weather and general information can be found on the Bangor Tiger’s web site. www.bangortigersjafc.com.au Boys and Girls aged from 5 to 17 are catered for in Auskick and junior AFL (we do sneak a few 4 year olds in as well and even an occassional 3 year old has been known to be clinging on to an Auskick coaches leg!): Participation is based on age of the player in the season. For example, a player who turns 11 on any date in 2017, will be eligible to play in the Under 11 competition for the 2017 year. Bangor Tigers participates in the Sydney Juniors competition. In age groups younger than U12s, we play other local clubs such as Cronulla Sharks, Miranda Bombers, Penshurst Panthers, Heathcote Hawks and Ramsgate Rams. The Under 12 through to Under 17, kids also play clubs such as Moore Park, Newtown, Glebe, Maroubra and East Sydney. read more
