But we didn’t. We said, ‘we’ll save you’—we challenged the banks, got better deals, and gave Aussies choice. We were honest and direct. It wasn’t a big boast or claim. We just offered to help any Australian who wanted to get a home loan. Today, under the guidance of CEO James Symond and known as just Aussie–our mission is no different to what it was then. Over the years we’ve seen and navigated Australians through it all; the highs, the lows and everything in between. The market may have changed, lenders may be asking more of Aussies, and the amount of noise out there may have increased.
