On 3 October 1984, Greg Mortimer and his expedition partner Tim Macartney-Snape became the first two Australians to reach the summit of Mt Everest, and even more impressively – they did so without the aid of supplementary oxygen! Greg and Margaret have always had a passion for adventure, exploring wild places and sharing the experience with friends so in 1991, Aurora Expeditions was born.
