After the Youth Congress 2017 in Frankfurt, the founding board of VJSNord decided to establish a local representation for Jew ... ish students in the federal states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Hamburg and Bremen. Our profile is based on the principles of the Jewish Student Union of Germany (JSUD) and is oriented towards a democratic, tolerant and cosmopolitan world view. It is a matter close to our heart to be a central and visible part of the public discourse. With numerous regional and supra-regional events we want to achieve that students find a connection to the Jewish infrastructure in Northern Germany and can exchange ideas with other like-minded people. With regular Shabbatot, parties and lectures by interesting speakers, we want to promote cultural exchange and expand the network for young Jewish people in Northern Germany. read more
