The chapter is 110+ members strong, r ... epresenting a variety of communications disciplines in Tulsa and surrounding areas. Communicators must demonstrate competence in varied disciplines across the broad spectrum of communications fields. Disciplines represented within the association include: print and broadcast journalism, television and radio production, film, advertising, public relations, marketing, editing, graphic design, multimedia design, and photography. The list continually grows with newer media platforms. AWC is dedicated to leading progressive change in the communications professions through information exchange, leadership, professional development and technology. More than 7,500 members strong, AWC is the prevailing communications organization for those serving in diverse, but related, communications professions. Student chapters are an important part of our organization.
