Established in 1920, the ASCE Metropolitan Section is the local New York City metro section of the American Society of Civil ... Engineers (ASCE). It represents Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island, Rockland and Westchester counties in the Lower Hudson Valley. It is a highly regarded professional organization that serves civil engineers in diverse technical groups by helping them to raise awareness, stay abreast of industry news and events, network, receive professional development credits, collaborate as well as mentor both younger civil engineers and students.
