The Arthur M. Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership provides opportunities, programs, and services for students and ... faculty from all different colleges on campus. Our 20+ member Advisory Board of Clemson Alumni are entrepreneurs residing all around the country with startups and investments in a number of different industries. We offer intensive, semester-long internships for top-tier students: Entrepreneurs-In-Residence seeking to start or grow their businesses, and Analysts-In-Residence who are paired with Board Members and/or external companies to work on projects such as marketing, writing business plans, developing prototypes, and more. In addition, Spiro runs and sponsors various programs around campus. The Living-Learning Community provides an environment conducive to starting businesses by encouraging active dialogue in the realm of entrepreneurial thought and action. The Pitch Smackdown is a Shark Tank inspired competition for students to pitch their idea in front of our panel of judges for a chance to win up to $30,000 in prize money. Our Venture Accelerator - located at 107 Sloan Street in Downtown Clemson - serves all students, faculty, and staff looking to start or advance an entrepreneurial venture. We provide an entrepreneurial community and support throughout the stages of developing their company including workshops, incubator workspace, peer mentoring programs, advising and other valuable resources.
