EXHIBITION @ Chateau de Penthes Museum: * MARCEL WANDERS Design Pieces from his "Personal Edition Collection": exclusive and ... limited Edition pieces combining craft and industry to achieve durability, fantasy and creativity. We are very excited to be showing Marcel Wanders latest works, video installations: ANTHANIUS I,II and III, exhibited earlier this year at the famous NY Friedman Benda Gallery. * Joris Laarman, the current Wonder child of Dutch Design, will exhibit Limited Edition Works, created in his studio Joris Laarman Lab, where Laarman collaborates with scientists and engineers in order to push technological possibilities such as 3D printing, robotics, and Digital programming. * Jurgen Bey, one of the most famous and respected Designers from the Netherlands, since the 90s, known for his famous collaborations (such as Droog) and his 'analytical' Designs and thinking. Jurgen Bey will exhibit both unique and Limited Edition Works. * Hendrik Kerstens, the famous Dutch Photographer, whose Portraiture makes playful references to Old Dutch Master paintings while achieving a strong Contemporary engagement in both subject, and technique. 2 AFTERNOON SYMPOSIUMS @ Domaine de Penthes: Open to the public (on subscription), on the 15th and 23rd of September: Art and Design Discours between Professors and Heads of Departements of our Partners Haute école d'art et de design - Genève, ECAL/Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne, EPFL+ECAL Lab, and Renowned Dutch Professors & Designers. No doubt these Symposiums will be Dynamic and well attended. The Dean of the London College of Fashion, the renowned Jose Teunissen, will be leading a Discussion on the Works of Iris van Herpen. Jurgen Bey will be leading the Dutch Design Discussion together with Ingrid van der Wacht from the Dutch Design Week 2016 & Dutch Design Foundation. Hendrik Kerstens will also be giving a Discours on his Work. ART AFTER WORKS, in the magnificent grounds of the Château, with Music, a Veuve Clicquot and Grolsch bar and a Special KLM Royal Dutch Airlines & KLM Switzerland World Business Class VIP Area, (for those who wish to reserve a table: info@penthes.ch).
