Fellow physicians have previously completed residency training in a primary medical specialty, such as emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, pathology, pediatrics, radiology, etc. Fellowship training combines clinical practice, informatics education, and hands-on experience with product/project management and implementation science of informatics projects in the healthcare setting. Graduates are eligible to become board certified in clinical informatics and are positioned for a breadth of careers range from clinical leadership, healthcare administration, informatics research, health-tech consulting and industry, as well as other creative roles which depend upon the ability to seamlessly translate clinical, administrative & information technology expertise. read more
