The history of the community band in Muncie goes back to the 1870's with the Lockwood Band. The present band, formed in 1985, ... is the latest in a rich legacy of providing this musical public service. Mission: To promote the enjoyment of Concert and Jazz Band music throughout Muncie and Delaware county.
