ACS at the University of Michigan, a Relay for Life fundraising branch of the American Cancer Society, is a place where parti ... cipants join together to celebrate, remember, and fight back against cancer. Each participant fundraises throughout the year, and the money in turn goes to support the activities of the ACS, including patient support, raising awareness, educating, and of course, cancer research.
