Ambassadors For Dialogue - Similar companies

The Ambassadors for Dialogue program is a cooperation between the Danish Youth Council (DUF), WE Centre in Jordan, the Danish ... Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) in Egypt, The Tunisian Scouts. It was launched in 2009 and is funded by the Danish Arab Partnership Program (DAPP). Based on the vision to promote peaceful coexistence by means of dialogue, we aim to enhance mutual understanding between youth across national, cultural, ideological and other divides. In practice, we train young Egyptian, Jordanian, Tunisian and Danish volunteers to become ‘ambassadors for dialogue’, who implement dialogue activities for other youth – across national borders and in their respective countries based on local needs. Thus far, 25.000 youth have participated in our activities. In 2016, Als Research, implemented an impact study of our program – focusing on the learning processes of our core volunteers, and what they ‘do’ with their learnings.
