Alpine, owns and operates an extensive range of equipment as well as several vessels including the 110’ research vessel Shearwater which is capable of 24-hour operations and accommodates 20 people. Alpine is also pleased to announce the newest addition to our fleet of vessels, The R/V Minerva is a RINA and SOLAS classed 155’ DPI multi-role, purpose built, survey vessel capable of collecting data is water depths in excess of 2,500 meters. The vessel features two dedicated and permanently equipped labs, one for data acquisition/processing and one for geotechnical and environmental sample analysis. The R/V Minerva has 17 staterooms with a total of 33 berths, each stateroom is fitted with bathroom, shower and climate control. The vessel is also equipped with extensive deck handling equipment including a 10-ton stern and 5-ton side A-frames, multiple winches, two deck cranes and a bow service crane.
