Website: olemiss.campuslabs.com

The African Caribbean Student Association of The University of Mississippi, ACSA, was founded in 2002 as a meeting point for ... students of African and Caribbean descent. Through our programs, we open our doors to members of Ole Miss and Oxford communities and are excited to share the rich cultures from the diverse nations that make up of these regions. Over the years the Association has grown with now over a hundred members, and has advanced in numerous other ways, but has remained committed to the goal of promoting and developing a sense of unity and community among its members. Some of our major annual events are the Diversity Seminar; Black Heritage Day; and the Culture Night (which showcases dance, music, poetry, food, and fashion). ACSA remains committed to the university's vision of building a more inclusive community on campus and will continue to support this and other such initiatives. read more
