SANS has been the leading supplier of High Tenacity LDI Nylon 66 for over two decades producing a full range of products from ... 70 to 840 denier with tenacities ranging between 7.5 and 9.5 GPD and final elongations between 18 and 22%, all while achieving low shrinkage between 3 and 6%. These N66 yarns are made with UV stabilized, bright polymer and exhibit superior whiteness and ease of dyeing characteristics. While targeting all forms of sewing threads, SANS specialty yarns are also found in a wide range of applications such as broadloom weaving, narrow fabrics and tapes, embroidery, banners, flags, braided cords, shoes and other technical textiles to include manufactured rubber goods, medical, military and automotive products. SANS strategically entered the High Tenacity Polyester LDI market in 2017 and completed a major investment in new spin-draw wind assets, which were started in production in 2018 and now produce a full range of products from 55 to 640 denier with tenacities ranging from 7 to 8.5 GPD and final elongations between 18 and 22%, all while achieving low shrinkage between 3 and 6%. These Polyester LDI products are targeted for similar markets, applications and end uses as the Nylon 66 products however, with significantly higher penetration in apparel sewing thread applications—significantly diversifying SANS offerings. Importantly, SANS is ISO 9001 certified and 100% of all SANS products are made in USA in North Carolina from US made raw materials and as such is 100% Berry and USMCA compliant.
