For 55 years, accessAbilities has been strengthening independent lives by providing first-rate services for people with disabilities in Armstrong, Indiana, and Westmoreland counties. Originally founded by local families who had children diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the program was known as UCP of Western Pennsylvania. Today, accessAbilities continues to build upon that legacy with a name that better reflects the wide scope of services offered by the agency which focuses on building educational foundations to foster life-long learning, independence, and assuring that the voices of people with disabilities are heard.
