The idea of this strategy is that Accede can then grow organically into the new areas with existing services and bring on new customers for the existing services, and vice versa. Acquisitions work best when the key people are retained. By focusing on acquiring through a use of shares the key people are retained and have a vested interest going further. Further, acquisitions that offer customer lists, new services, and new geographic areas add more value to the acquiring firm than acquisitions that have similar customer lists, similar services, and in current geographic areas.
