Our Lodge traces its origins back to 1920, and has a very diverse membership consisting of men of all ages and from all walks ... of life whom we are proud to call our Brothers. We have a rich history of involvement in the local community and schools. In fact, many leaders and officers within the Grand Lodge of California have come from our little lodge over the years. Acalanes Fellowship Lodge is also known for being incredibly open and welcoming to Masons and their guests from all over the Bay Area, California, the United States and around the world, and we are always eager to meet potential new members. We have well-earned our reputation over the years as The Friendly Lodge! Freemasonry is one of the greatest forces for good in the world, with millions of members around the globe all pursuing the Masonic principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Our Lodge, in particular, has dedicated itself to the greatest human moral virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity (which in ancient Greek translates to the word “love”). Freemasonry is relevant and important in today’s world because we can make a difference in the lives of the people around us. We cannot change or repair all that is wrong with the world, and we certainly cannot do it all at once. But what we can do is begin, right here at our Friendly Lodge, to make that difference at a local level. We can begin to repair the world by improving ourselves, through greater community outreach, philanthropy, and providing more Masonic education and relief to the members of our Lodge.
