We root our commitment in the eight limbs of yoga, precepts for living that originated in South Asia and Northern Africa, and honor the lineage of teachers that have informed us as practitioners of yoga in the West. We pledge to practice all eight limbs of yoga within our business and ourselves. The eight limbs of yoga are yama (attitudes toward our environment), niyama (attitudes toward ourselves), asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practices), pratyahara (sensory restraint), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (complete integration).
